Rucosil B TF combined with Acrylic/Styrene Acrylic resin is an ideal co-binder for high performance exterior paints. Providing outstanding stability towards moisture and weathering, alongside high-water vapor permeability despite strong water repellent behaviour. Excellent abrasion resistance, low proneness towards fungus and algae growth. Very good hiding power for all type of colours. To further improve performance of those paints they can be combined with the hydrophobic additives Rucosil B HA, B LS, and our beading booster Rucosil B LF to realise the highest possible performance. Stain repellent Fluorinated acrylic polymer coatings come in the form of the Rucotec range. Water based VOC free options are available, and ultimate performance is still available with solvent based products. Rucotec B-FS is a hybrid product which offers maximum stain protection whilst providing a high level of water repellency.
Surface Protection
With our water-based impregnation Rucosan B WB it’s possible to realise an integral and surface hydrophobisation of glass fibre reinforced concrete, which suppresses effloresce effects and prolong the lifetime of the products. For the surface treatment of precast concrete products Rucosan B SR 100 exhibits high performance along with a maximum dilution with aliphatic solvents. It can significantly prolong the lifetime of the concrete products by avoiding intense water penetration which is accompanied by chemical protection. The usage of Rucosan B WB and Rucosan B KS (clay and ceramic products) is also possible. Damp impregnation creams are available in the form of Rucosan B-CM range.
Dry Mix Additives
The Rucomin B PW is the ideal solution for the internal hydrophobisation of all dry mix, cementitious formulations. Regardless of if we are talking about mortars, grouts, joint seals, putties, adhesives, concrete or screeds. The Rucomin B PM and B-PM 24 have already found their place in the dry mix industry to avoid unwanted foaming of mortar, grout, tile adhesives, screed and cementitious joint sealants. Rucomin B-PM is a cost-effective solution for the aforementioned applications, the B-PM24 is a high-performance grade especially suited to self-levelling compounds.
